“When I started Bharatha Natyam with Vini Akka four years ago, it was mostly to make my mom happy. But since then, I've really fallen in love with it myself!
Vini Akka's teaching is awesome. She breaks down difficult dance items into smaller, easier-to-handle chunks. Plus, she's totally helped me ease into doing Abhinaya. She makes sure we really get the meaning of every word and the whole story behind each song. We take detailed notes, which helps us connect with and understand the stories way better, making it easier to enact the characters.”
